The frequency of a given search term on the Internet, i.e. the total number of occurrences of the term on the Web, is one indicator of the brandability and memorability of the name. In other words, the more often a porn star's name appears across the internet, the more popular she is.

You may notice that Tera Patrick has a keyword frequency of 2,220,000. This means that her name appears in 2,220,000 websites in the Google database. Meggan Mallone has a keyword frequency of 2,770,000. This means that her name appears in 2,770,000 websites across the Internet (according to Google). That means that Tera Patrick is far more popular based simply on the fact that her name appears more often than Meggan Mallone's name. It's sort of like the more someone uses your name, the more pouplar you are.

For example, let's say that Tera Patrick has a keyword frequency of 1,250,000. This means that her name appears in 1,250,000 websites in the Google database. Now let's say that Hanna Hilton has a keyword frequency of 968,000. This means that her name appears somewhere in at least 968,000 websites that in are currently in the Google database. Using just these figures alone, that would make Tera Patrick more popular than Hanna Hilton, simply based on the fact that Tera Patrick's name appears more often than Hanna Hilton's name. It's sort of like the more someone uses your name, the more pouplar you are.
