Oliva Lua was originally from Philadelphia but moved to LA to pursue a career in adult entertainment.  She began her career in porn in 2016 and starred in about 100 scenes before her death. During the span of her career, she has also been known as Olivia Voltaire.

Olivia Lua died on January 19, 2018, at a care facility in West Hollywood where she was seeking treatment for depression and anxiety. Despite rumors to the contrary, she was not in drug rehab, she had actually suffered since childhood with depression and anxiety and had gone off of her meds after being pill shamed by one of her “friends”. This led to a series of events that would eventually find her checking herself into the West Hollywood facility for help.
